How we publish
Editorial Standards
The Canadian Chronicle reports from a firm conservative perspective while keeping facts, commentary and inference clearly separated.
Facts first
Reporting is grounded in verifiable facts. We link sources where they are available and do not fill factual gaps with speculation.
Reporting and commentary
Commentary is always labelled as “The Chronicle’s take — commentary”. Confirmed facts are kept distinct from commentary and inference.
Polls and numbers
Poll coverage identifies the pollster, field dates and sample size. Numbers are cross-checked for consistency across headlines, stories and related sections.
Sources
Primary and reliable sources are linked where available so readers can inspect the underlying material.
Voice and conduct
Our perspective is firmly conservative, never hostile. We aim to persuade rather than alienate. The publication is profanity-free.
Corrections
Readers can report factual errors through the Contact page. Verified errors are handled under our Corrections Policy.
